Both, and most of our work is the second. Typical engagements are adding a financial or workforce module to an ERP that is already live, replacing an overnight batch integration with an event-driven one, upgrading across versions, or migrating between environments — all without interrupting the business running on top of it.

Every migration is rehearsed in non-production before it touches production. We reconcile migrated master and transactional data against source, trace every variance to root cause rather than accepting a matching row count, and cut over against a runbook with a tested rollback. Reconciliation evidence is part of the deliverable.

Functional, regression, integration and API testing executed against documented business processes — procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report and manufacturing flows. Defects are logged and tracked to verified closure before UAT opens. You receive the test library and the defect trail, not just a sign-off email.

Yes, and often that is the arrangement. A large share of our work is a defined workstream inside a programme someone else leads — the QA and functional stream on a rollout, or the engineering stream on a specific module. We state scope boundaries in writing at the outset so nobody discovers a gap at go-live.

End-user training is part of delivery, not an upsell — adoption is what determines whether a system actually replaces the spreadsheet it was meant to retire. That is followed by a hypercare period with the delivery team still engaged, and an ongoing support arrangement if you want one.

Systems that touch money or personal data are built to be audited. That means role-based access control on every inquiry surface, append-only audit trails recording who changed what and why, secrets and dependency scanning in the build pipeline, and documented evidence a reviewer can follow. We will tell you plainly which compliance obligations we can evidence and which remain yours.
